The imagery in this card differs from the Rider Waite Smith deck however, the meanings remain the same. This card shows three pentacles surrounded by knots that have been carefully tied. This is intricate work and takes great care and attention to detail.
How The Three of Pentacles is Relevant to Me
Partnership is at the forefront of this card. There is a point with many couples in a long term relationship, particularly those with children where there is a shift in priorities. For Steve and I, that is officially in the formal planning stage. Freya and James are teenagers and Freya in particular, knows exactly what she wants to achieve. James has a rough idea but for both of them, getting a degree will most likely put them in a better position. That means for us as a couple, things will be changing. We wont want to pay rent on a 3 bedroom house if we don’t need it for a start. Having a big house has never been something we were really interested in and for me, staying in one place until the day I die would make me feel like a caged animal. Steve has business and social connections in Chelmsford but to be honest, he doesn’t need to be physically living here for that to keep going. We plan to eventually live on our boat but I can’t get too excited about that until survey day has been and gone. It doesn’t stop me planning though.
I have my silver business that I am pushing ahead with. I have enough products to start my Etsy shop, packaging has been ordered and hopefully, on the weekend, I will find some crystals to use in my photographs. By the middle of next week, I hope to have my shop fully operational.
Steve has In the Abyss which will hopefully evolve into a fully fledged business. I just wish for him to be able to make a living from something that he truly loves. We wont need huge amounts of money to live comfortably on a boat either which obviously takes the pressure off. We may be both working on separage projects but we need to collaborate in order for these to successfully transfer into boatlife down the line.
I like to think that we have mastered the art of genuinely supporting each other. It has taken a long time to get here and if anything, my accident has helped to cement that.
