One of the most misunderstood cards in the tarot, death is encouraging you to shed anything that may be detrimental to your personal growth and happiness.
How Death is Relevant to Me
My favourite card again and quite fitting that it has come after the Nine of Swords. I can’t quite remember what I wrote the last time this card appeared but I think it was around my long term goals and how I wanted to change the way I am living my life. That is all still true but after yesterday, I am also realising that I need to change my attitude towards things too. I am naturally a very reactive person but my injuries are forcing me to take my time and although I can (and do) make hasty decisions, I cannot necessarily act on them as quickly as I usually would. Because I am not acting on them, they simply become hypothetical decisions that I can reflect on and change. For an overthinker like me, this can often create a tangle of different options that I struggle to put into any order.
Death is a long term goal card and I think for me, it will always be a card that pops up more frequently than it may do for other people. The bottom line is that at the moment, I am very much a work in progress and I don’t really have a clue what I am doing!
