Symbolism & Meaning
In Tarot, Page cards are considered the messengers and represent curiosity and the pursuit of knowledge. The Page stands on top of a hill holding his sword in both hands, ready and willing to take on any challenges that come their way. Learning anything new takes time. Now is not the time to rush through things. The practice stage is a very necessary part of the learning journey.
How The Page of Swords is Relevant to Me
This card flipped over whilst I was shuffling and when I picked it up, a feeling of being comforted came over me. I have learned so much about myself since my accident and I am trying to take it all on board, process it and utilise it in my day to day life. I used to rush through things a lot and now I can see how that was a huge detriment to me.
Going forward, I am very excited about my future endeavours. For the first time in my life I feel like I have an achievable goal. A goal that will, hopefully, not only provide an income but will enable me to fulfil my dream of having a fully remote job. The trouble is though, in the past I have never allowed myself the “practice” stage. I have always wanted to rush to the earning money bit and then feel downhearted when things don’t go as well as I wanted them to.
I need to approach this stage of my life differently. There is no rush and thankfully, the compensation money means that I have the means to perfect my skills before sharing them with the world.
I have a solid plan and I need to stick to it.
