Symbolism & Meaning

This Queen knows what she needs to do to get things done. She holds her sword lightly because although she has to be prepared, she is confident enough to know that she wont need to use it. She has a no nonsense attitude and is determined to proceed making decisions based on logic. She is there to offer guidance in situations that require clear thinking and assertiveness.

How The Queen of Swords is Relevant to Me

I think that this card is telling me that I have all of the puzzle pieces, I just need to have confidence, trust in my intuition and get it completed. I have been forced into a situation that I didn’t expect but as a result, I now have the opportunity to change things for the better.

I have always had a dream that both Steve and I could generate enough of an income to support us doing things that we love. In that respect I have always been more of a risk taker and am happy to just do things and see how they work out. I also realise though that I have had that luxury because Steve has always been willing to be the “breadwinner” so to speak. Things are changing now and the Queen of Swords in me is wanting to support Steve to take the leap and trust in himself. We had a “plan” that we originally thought would take a good five years to execute. That “plan” is now a week away from potentially becoming reality. Once the excitement of this settles down, we need to start thinking about the next stage. I want to focus on my silver and tarot so I can just keep plodding away at that.

Steve has In the Abyss. A brand that he has been cultivating for a good three years now. He has an idea of what he wants to achieve and I want to support him to get there.

Steve and I had a conversation yesterday and a seed was planted. I want him to back himself and go for it but I just need to be patient. We have a lot going on right now and it may not be the best time to be throwing another venture into the mix. I know what I am like though and I will want to just do it and see where it takes us!
