Symbolism & Meaning
The Knight of Cups presents a figure on horseback, clad in armor and holding a chalice, suggesting a connection to emotions. The imagery evokes feelings of adventure and invites us to delve deeper and explore our emotions. The horses head is bowed, indicating that this quest has been long but not without reward. Air and Water are fast moving. Think about whether you are being ruled by your emotions and making hasty decisions.
How the Knight of Cups is Relevant to Me
This card is warning me not to get carried away and get swept up in emotional experiences.
It is so bizarre that the last thing I said to Steve before coming downstairs was about my potential Macrame business. I know I have a tendency to get carried away with these endeavour’s. The macrame has helped me so much over the last few days but I need to take my time with this one. I feel so strongly that I could make a successful business out of it that my excitement may be over taking the reality of what is involved to set up a full Etsy store.
Yesterday I was planning photograph sessions, studying packaging options and looking way further ahead than I actually am in reality.
Today I plan to slow down, enjoy my macrame making process and try not to revert back to my all or nothing approach to my ideas. This hasn’t served me in the past, it certainly wont serve me going forward.
