Temperance represents a positive path going forward however, assistance will be necessary from the divine. The card shows an angel standing with one foot in water and one on land. The water being poured from one glass into another seems to be flowing in both directions. This can indicate how the impossible and become possible if you think carefully about what to embark on next.
How Temperance is Relevant to Me
I don’t know why but I felt good when I pulled this card. As I am shuffling I usually try to connect with my thoughts as I go through the motion, always a little apprehensive about what card may appear.
Temperance is a reminder that whatever I am going through, I don’t have to do it alone. I also need to understand that patience is necessary in order to achieve success. It is also a prompt to look to the divine for assistance.
I have said before that since the accident I have been curious about all things alternative from tarot to crystals and mindfulness. I have never been religious but I have always been slightly envious of those who do have a faith. I love the idea of having a ritual and how grounding that could be. I have recently been exploring the idea of rituals and Facebook hits me daily with suggestions on what products I could use.
I don’t know if there is any truth to any of it but isn’t that what faith is? You don’t need proof to have faith in something you just need to believe in how it makes you feel.
