Symbolism & Meaning

The Page of Cups represents a young and imaginative person. Full of inncocence, he has found a fish and just wants to nurture it as best he can. He has no idea what he is doing but his enthusiasm cannot be denied. The challenge with the Page of Cups is keeping his feet on the ground. When this card appears, if it not relevant to yourself then it could represent a younger person in your life.

How The Page of Cups is Relevant to Me

I always find it difficult when a card appears that I have only had quite recently. In this case though, I am going to take it as representing my son, James. When I came downstairs this morning James was already up. I started shuffling my cards and the Page of Cups fell out. James was chatting to me so I absentmindedly put the card back and continued shuffling. I then split the deck as usual, picked my card and the Page of Cups was the one I chose. I couldn’t ignore this, especially seeing as James was already talking passionately about politics whilst I was trying to wake up!

James is a very passionate individual. I cannot wait to see the kind of adult he will make, I love him to bits. It’s not even 9.00am and so far we have covered engineering, AI technology, IGCSE past papers, Marilyn Manson, the death penalty, Donald Trump and the Epstein files.

There isn’t really much else I can say and he may not even let me publish this as he is also a very private individual. To the outside world he may come across as being quiet and withdrawn. At home though, he literally talks non stop about very intense subjects, all the time.

I wouldn’t change him at all and I can’t wait to see what he ends up doing as a career.
