Kings, in all of the suits, represent authority and stability. On an elemental level, he represents fire and air. The fire symbolises passion and air is linked to communication and wisdom. He sits on a concrete throne carved with the elemental butterflies. These represent air and fire due to the transformative state each goes through. He is holding a sword, slightly tilted, indicating he is ready to act when needed.
How the King of Swords is Relevant to Me
This card came up very early on in this process. I wrote very little back then, this all felt very strange and I was delving into the unknown. I was also a bit apprehensive about sharing so much. Now, I don’t give a shit! In that post, I inferred most of what I saw to Steve. Now that I have a deeper understanding of the cards, I know that is not actually the case at all.
This card is very authoritarian and speaks to trusting yourself. My issues have always been rooted in my low confidence and my fear of making mistakes. As awful as this accident has been, I really need see it as an opportunity to trust my desires to do something for myself. I am already making steps I just need to listen to my intuition and trust my voice. I do feel a fire in me and I also feel like I have the power to transform my life and use my skills to build a successful business.
The traditional meaning of this card also points to legal matters. Good news may be on the way but I need to take care to remain logical where important decisions need to be made.
