This card usually shows up if there is a situation where you cannot let emotions sway any decision making. Considering that today is boat survey day; I think that is pretty apt. No matter how much I love this boat, I need to keep my head in the game and remember that the surveyor has a job to do. We have already been warned not to be surprised if there is a long list of problems. This boat has been used as a liveaboard and therefore used extensively for the last few years. We already have an idea of what will be a deal breaker situation so we just need to pay close attention to any comments the surveyor may make throughout the process and keep our fingers crossed very tightly.
I feel like a lot is riding on today. Our lounge is full of “boat stuff” that I have bought in preparation for potentially moving it on Friday/Saturday. Let’s see what the day brings!
