Upright Keywords: Truth & Balance
Symbolism & Meaning
The Justice tarot card is a powerful symbol reflecting fairness, truth, and balance. This card, often represented by a cloaked figure holding a sword and scales, is a prompt for us to find harmony in our day to day lives. The imagery of the Justice card reflects the importance of evaluating situations with clarity and honesty.
The figure typically wears a crown, signifying authority, and the scales represent balance and impartiality, key elements of justice. Additionally, the sword symbolizes the power of reason and facts in decision making. Each element of this card reinforces the core values of accountability and ethical judgment.
How the Justice Card is relevant to Me
This is the second time I have pulled this card, not surprising given what is going on in the background. When you draw the Justice tarot card, it often signifies a need for fairness in your current situation. Although this card can also mean you seek fairness in moral issues, in my case it is definitely linked to legal matters.
I am struggling with the legal side of my injuries. The driver who hit me has been charged, so that is rumbling on in the background. On top of that, my injuries and ongoing rehabilitation have been assessed by an independent party with regards to securing me some compensation.
The compensation however is dependent on liability. The insurance company on the driver’s side are yet to admit liability. I am a naturally impatient person but the unknowns around all of this are very hard for me to deal with on a day to day basis.
I was hit on a zebra crossing. It was dark, rainy and apparently I was virtually across the road when I was hit. I have no memory of this. There was a witness who also crossed in front of me.
Steve, the police, the paramedics and my psychologist have all told me that none of this is my fault. Unfortunately, until I have it confirmed in court and by the driver’s insurance company, I just cannot accept this.
I am currently signed off work until mid July and honestly, I feel like this will be extended. At this point I can’t imagine myself returning to my previous job. There are many reasons why but the main ones are; it means getting the same bus journey which was the last thing I did before getting run over, I had only been working there for 6 weeks when this happened. They don’t know me and I would be returning not only with limitations but I will have to start all over again with learning the job itself.
The legal side of this is vital to my piece of mind about work. If I knew I had a certain sum of money coming to me then I could relax and fully focus on my recovery.
I need to have faith that Justice will prevail and balance will be restored. The fact that the Justice card was upright gives me hope that this will be in my favour.
