The reaper has come for us, but not in the way usually associated with this figure. Under his hood we see a beautiful forest, the roots of which promise new growth. Before these trees can grow, you need to make room by clearing away the old debris. Only then can the glaring sun reach the earth below and help them on their way.
How Death/Rebirth is Relevant to Me
Many people are wary about having a tarot reading because they are afraid of the death card. Please don’t be. It is a big hitter of course but it comes with tremendous opportunity. I am a Scorpio so this is my card and to be honest, there isn’t any other tarot card that suits me more.
I am definitely experiencing a “rebirth” as such. So much so, I desperately want to get an infinity symbol tattoo. I also love change. I have already talked about this a lot so it wont come as any surprise, I just need to be patient because although I know it is coming, it wont be for a while. That is ok though, Death is a major arcana card and therefore isn’t talking about the day to day short term things. This is about my long term goals.
I am not the kind of person to be afraid of change in their life. The thought of remaining static is more scary to me than anything the death card can bring.
I know that the death/rebirth I am experiencing is going to be big. People will judge it and question my choices. That’s ok. It has taken a long time for me to come to terms with the way I am. I have no intention of fighting it.
