As with all of the cups suits, the Ace of Cups is rooted in emotions, love and intuition. This is also representative of my sign, Scorpio as well as Cancer and Pisces. The card shows a hand emerging from a cloud holding a golden cup. From this cup, five streams of water can be seen flowing into a lily pond. The water is symbolic of the influence that the cup has, meaning this can show up in many different ways. We just need to be aware of it so we can see it when it appears. The dove is a universal symbol of peace and the wafer is a gift to the divine.
How the Ace of Cups is Relevant to me
The Ace of Cups symbolises the offering of a gift of love. As the streams of water indicate, this can be in many different ways, including self love. A new connection will give me a sense of peace and happiness in my life. I need to be open to receiving this. This is very relevant today as I embark on my course of EMDR therapy. I have no idea what to expect from this but I need to be aware of my emotions surrounding it and take care not to be too hard on myself. This is an opportunity to focus on personal development in a very new way.
From a career point of view, this is ongoing. New sources of income from creative endeavours can be expected. I really hope so. I am finding this direction of crafting so emotionally fulfilling it would be a shame not to do something with it.
Overall, although this card has shown up not too long ago, these daily readings are surprising me with how relevant they are to a very specific date. One day I hope to be knowledgeable enough to read for other people and share this with the world.
