This man has so many cups to choose from, he las lost track of which one is which! One may lead the way, one may take him down an unknown path or one could simply be an illusion,, there to tempt him away from his true goal. All of these choices can be overwhelming but it is important not to be too hasty. Take your time to choose the path that aligns with your ethos and priorities.
How The Seven of Cups is Relevant to Me
The Seven of Cups usually pops up if you are ready to make a move but don’t know which way to go. It is ok to dream about the future but what action needs to be taken to get there? For me, this card is all about the boat, the wonderful Message in a Bottle. I am in danger of getting overwhelmed so have had to pass some of the admin tasks over to Steve. He is ultra organised and is happy to fire off some emails and make sure the logistics are all taken care of.
Until we have a positive survey, the boat isn’t a go ahead. In my imagination though, I am already five years down the line, living on our boat and cruising the inland waterways. I have Amazon wish lists on the go and an Ikea shopping list that would terrify even the most hardcore Ikea fan!
I already have a photo of Message in a Bottle as my screensaver and I flick through the photographs multiple times a day. I may be a little bit out of control but hey, that is what nearly 6 months of recovery does to you!
I can’t buy anything until after the survey has been completed and we know for sure that the purchase will take place. If I take my time and trust the process, I wont make any impulsive decisions.
