How The Knight of Pentacles is Relevant to Me
I am trying to get things moving with my Etsy shop and building my jewellery business. The trouble is, I haven’t really had a routine for a few months now and to be honest, I am struggling to get back into things. I love working from home and I know that ultimately, this will make me happy. The only issue is that when you don’t have to be somewhere for a specific time i.e. a workplace, it requires a great deal of discipline to stick to a schedule. I knew I had to start doing things a bit differently.
Yesterday I spent most of the day organising my workspace and researching my next designs. I have something in mind so before I went to bed last night I laid everything out that I will need to produce these pieces. I will use air drying clay first to test my designs and make sure that the effect I want to achieve is possible. Air drying clay does behave differently to silver clay but it is close enough to practice with. Silver clay is so expensive that I would rather fix all the teething problems of a design with a cheaper product.
Today I will spend my time playing around with designs and finding something a bit different that I can add to my shop.
